Been a while.

In fact it's been 265 days since my cancer diagnosis.

77 of those were spent on chemotherapy. Followed that up with 2 major surgeries. 1 of which was planned, the other, an emergency. If I'm being honest, I didn't know if I was going to make it through the 2nd surgery. I spent the next 44 days in hospital recovering, half that time in ICU. I had my entire colon removed and even have a gnarly wound in the middle of my abdomen. I've been to hell and back.

All of this to say, I received a call from my oncologist the other day.

I am officially cancer free.

I'm still on the mend, but slowly getting back into the swing of things and adjusting to my new way of life. But this is incredible news and I just wanted to share with this wonderful community. Got a lot of art planned, so I hope you follow along with me as I move forward and close this nightmare chapter of my life!
